This course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to identify and respond with empathy to domestic abuse affecting young people experiencing multiple disadvantage, using trauma-informed and victim/survivor centred approaches that prioritise safety, trust, and empowerment.

This two-hour training explores cuckooing through a safeguarding and trauma-informed lens, with a particular focus on how women experiencing multiple disadvantage are targeted. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the links between cuckooing, county lines, domestic abuse, and coercive control, as well as the legal frameworks that apply to these situations.
